Sundays

10.30am Service: Children and Young People

The young people meet and join in for the first part of the service, then leave for either of the following groups. At Communion Services they return just before the Peace for the remainder of the service. On the Sundays when we have an All Age Special service the children and young people remain in church for the whole time. This service is usually joined by the Guides and Brownies. See Services and What's On for more details of our Sunday services.

Children's Church (0 - 10+) meet as Scrambler, Climber and Explorer groups in the Church Lounge There is also a supervised creche at all our 10.30am services.

Pathfinders (11+) meets at The Square, Market Square

Mondays

Hamelsham Handbells meet at 2.00pm each week in the Church Lounge.

1st Hailsham Guides meet in the Church and Lounge, 6.00-7.30pm during term time.

Homemakers meet on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm in the Church Lounge.

The Bellringers practise in the belfry every Monday evening from 7.30pm

Tuesdays

Oasis: a group for parents with young children (creche provided) meets in the Church Lounge 9.15 - 11.00am during term time only.

The FAB Club; an after-school club for children ages 6-10 meets in the Lounge 3.45-5.15pm during term time.

Wednesdays

The Creative Craft Group is held in the Church Lounge each week from 10.00am to 12 noon, offering a variey of crafts to try.

Holy Communion: each week at 11.00am in the Church

Wednesday Meet & Pray: 12 - 12.45 each week so we can pray together as God's people. Meets in the Church Lounge. Refreshments served from 11.50am.

Thursdays

St Mary's Mums & Toddlers Group: activities and stories for babies and pre-school children (with their parents) meet in the Church Lounge in term time from 9.30 - 11.30am

Fridays

The Bite-In is held in the Lounge every week, and provides tea/coffee and light snacks. It's open from 9.00am to 12.30pm. The Church is also open from the lounge at this time.

4th Hailsham St Mary's Brownies meet 5.30-7.00pm in the Lounge during term time.

6th Hailsham Guides meet 7.15-8.45pm in the Lounge during term time.

SALT 14+ Group meet 7.45-9.45pm at 19 St Wilfrid's Green during term time.

Housegroups

There are seven housegroups meeting weekly or fortnightly for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. Details are available in the Church Magazine or contact David Bourne.

Christianity Explored

We run regular Christianity Explored courses. This is a course that enables people to find more about the Christian faith in a relaxed environment. For more information contact David Bourne.

St Mary's Men's Group (Christian Viewpoint for Men)

meet termly for a supper evening with invited speaker.

St Mary's Ladies' Group

meets several times a year for a supper evening.
